My Hello World, from rookie to techie

by b3nab

Intro

Want to start with something simple maybe a little, classic and unuseful "Hello World!"?!

Nope. This will be a useful space, so no "Hello World", no "Start the easy-way", no "Easy-peasy tutorials" but only interesting and rich contents. If you want to start with a simple and not-so-classic hello world try to read this simple "Hello World" written in BrainFuck programming language.

Preamble

Hey man, why are you so rude? This is only your first post! lol

Yes, you are right.. I'll answer you in a sec. But before, let me introduce this site.

What you can find on this web space

Here I will talk (maybe is more accurate to say write) about things that simply inspire me. And I hope that I'll do the same with you. My posts will be in different format (texts, videos, images, etc..). In particular the contents will talk about technology, developer's world, startup, ideas, innovative products, web, but also my thoughts and hopefully others and others topics - tech-related and not.

So, the work to do (for me) is not so easy, but I'll promise to be as clear as can I be. :D I will publish posts in English, of course, and also in Italian, my native language.

Final

So the real motivation of my rudeness is the following..

Start the hard way. Be curious. I learned, and I'm learning through my time in developing and studying computer science and web, that Hello World sucks. The Hello World, in my opinion, is a dumble chance to start your programming adventure. Because it not teaches you anything except doing an "Hello World".

If you want to learn a new programming language start with examples that are a little more advanced than "Hello World", so you can dive deep and know the pros and cons of the language. Is good to copy/paste from the internet in the beginning of your journey.
